Dr. Mercy Gardiner is a seasoned Information Technology (IT) professional with over 30 years’ experience in developing, deploying, consulting and supporting business applications and enterprise systems. She is the co-Founder and CEO of DevApps Ltd, an IT company which develops, sells, implements and supports a line of enterprise resource planning (ERP) application software for small, midsize and large enterprises. In addition to Devapps Limited, she is the co-founder of two other companies; ICT Farm Ltd - an IT company focused on cloud and on-prem infrastructure software and hardware; and The Leaders’ Edge – a people development company which is focused on leadership development.

With a passion for delivering successful IT business solutions across Africa and a drive for results, Dr Gardiner after completing her studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), started her career in1993 as an IT Consultant with Deloitte & Touché Consulting, West Africa. After three years, she moved to Zimbabwe where she led companies like Burco Business Solutions Zimbabwe and Fintech International in establishing their Microsoft practices whilst managing their sales, marketing and implementations of core banking and Microsoft Dynamics products across Southern Africa.

In 2006, Dr. Mercy Gardiner joined Microsoft as the Channel Manager for Southeast Africa, driving and managing the Small & Medium Sales and Partner businesses across Southern Africa. For a period of nine years, she held various leadership positions in Microsoft spanning across forty-nine African countries. She led the Microsoft Dynamics Business for Sub Saharan Africa, and under her guidance and leadership, the Microsoft Dynamics footprint grew in the region with double-digit revenue growth. She was also instrumental in setting up the Microsoft entity in Ghana.

In addition to various IT and leadership certifications, Mercy holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from the Swiss Business School, where her research was on the “Factors behind the Assimilation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software by Mid-Sized and Large Firms in a Pre- Emerging Economy: A case of Ghana”. She also holds a Master of Applied Business Research from SBS Swiss Business School, a Post Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Business Management from Nobel International Business School and an Executive Master of Business Administration Degree from, the China Europe International Business School.

Dr Mercy has been a speaker/author and currently a reviewer of papers on enterprise systems at the enviable Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS); a worldwide annual scientific conferences in Information Technology Management; where top scholars from academia and industry around the globe exchange ideas in various areas of information, computer, and system sciences.

As an Ethical Influence Practitioner and a Cialdini Certified Professional and Coach, Dr Mercy helps individuals and organizations implement influence technics based on the body of work done by one of the top behavioral scientists in the world; Dr Robert Cialdini. She is a certified John Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker; and provides mentoring and career coaching to job seekers and young professionals. As an entrepreneur with interest in Innovation and Growth in Small Firms, she believes in the fact that entrepreneurship is one of the levers for economic growth in Africa, and as such, encourages job seekers to look at the option of starting their own businesses.

Dr Mercy Gardiner serves on the boards of a number of companies in Ghana and Nigeria, including the Jospong Group of Companies, SanlamAllianz, the College of Basic and Applied Sciences, University of Ghana, to name a few. and is actively engaged in various activities in her community. She is the Area Personnel for Bible Study Fellowship, Ghana; an international Christian interdenominational parachurch fellowship of lay people offering a system of structured bible study.

She currently serves on the Apex and ICT cluster boards, and is the Acting C.E.O. of Level10 Communications and Technologies Limited
