Swadeck Taher is a seasoned business executive, financial strategist, and turnaround practitioner with over 30 years of leadership experience across diverse sectors including finance, insurance, healthcare, hospitality, asset management, and retail. Based in Mauritius, he is the Founder and CEO of Sakeenah Group, a business and leadership development platform that reflects his commitment to building sustainable enterprises anchored in values, innovation, and human capital development.

Swadeck began his career in London, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant at the age of 21. He held key leadership roles at KPMG, before moving to Mauritius to join the British American Investment Group, where he served for 17 years in senior executive positions including Group EVP & COO and President & CEO of Bramer Corporation. He is widely recognised for his ability to engineer strategic turnarounds, most notably the transformation of Apollo Bramwell Hospital into a viable, performance-driven institution.

His leadership style is grounded in servant leadership, a strong moral compass, and a belief in systems thinking. Today, Swadeck is also a mentor, coach, and advisor to CEOs, entrepreneurs, and organisations seeking growth, resilience, and transformation. He is known for creating practical solutions to complex challenges, and for his dedication to nurturing leadership that is both ethically grounded and commercially sharp.
